Core Knowledge:

Twin Peaks Charter Academy uses the Core Knowledge curriculum which is known for being a content rich curriculum that builds upon itself in a spiral fashion.  The Core Knowledge website is a great resource for the topics to be covered within our curriculum.

We offer a rich curriculum based on Core Knowledge which includes fabulous enrichment opportunities in Art and Music. TPCA has also chosen to supplement our curriculum by including physical education, Spanish, band, computer, gifted & talented (GT) math, and gifted & talented (GT) language arts.

Our Philosophy:

We focus on developing strong character and a sense of responsibility in our students. To help in the development of productive and principled citizens, teachers daily integrate lessons emphasizing the Six Pillars of Characters, which are incorporated into everything we do. Our board, committees, staff, administration and strive to couple strong character education with a powerful Core Knowledge curriculum that results in a proven recipe for long-term success.
