Twin Peaks Charter Academy is a school of choice.  This means that parents recognize they have options and have selected TPCA’s educational philosophy for their children.  When parents and teachers choose the education that they prefer, everyone works together toward the same goal.  Within this model, we recognize that parents are the child’s first and most important teachers.  For families, this includes the responsibility to support the school staff and provide examples of good behavior, character, and work habits for your children.

As partners in education, TPCA encourages parent volunteerism.  And as a charter school, we count on your help in order to accomplish our goals.  This includes participation of 20 hours per school year per family in Board meetings, committees, fundraisers, classroom projects, workdays, and/or donations of goods, services, or money to the school.  

Getting Started

The TPCA Volunteer Interest Survey helps us find people who are interested and able to assist with volunteer needs throughout the school year.  Please complete this form and return it to Beverly Weinberg, Volunteer Coordinator.

Recording Your Time

We ask that you record your volunteer hours.  You can either complete the Volunteer Time-Log form and return it to our Volunteer Coordinator or record your time on a volunteer time card located on the volunteer table in the front lobby of the school.
