Admissions
Twin Peaks Charter Academy is a public school of choice within the St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD) offering the Core Knowledge sequence for K-8th and a new college preparatory high school with Classical Education priorities. The High School opened for grade 9 in August, 2011 and will add another grade level each year, 9th – 12th. until we reach a full four year program. For the 2012-2013 Lottery, we will be accepting lottery applications for grades K-10. We are state-funded, therefore there are no tuition fees. We are a school founded, built and governed by our dedicated parents.
Enrollment openings are filled from lists created each year through a public lottery. Please remember that participating in the lottery is not a guarantee of enrollment. Enrollment preference is given to current students and siblings, then to new students who live in the St. Vrain Valley district and then to out-of-district applicants.
To contact the school registrar for an update on lottery list status or with any other questions about enrollment, please send e-mail to: putrah_marilyn@svvsd.org" or call 303.772.7286 X 57051.
Parents of currently enrolled students are required to annually re-enroll students for the upcoming school year and apply for new siblings, who have priority over the Lottery applicants. The re-enrollment/sibling enrollment window for 2012-13 is January 9-27.
Remaining openings in all grades are being filled with the Lottery list and then the Waiting list. See also "Admission Process" for 2012-2013 enrollment updates.
