Response to Annual Surveys

Lynn Ingegneri - Wednesday, May 27, 2015

Recently, TPCA sent out annual surveys to parents, students, and teachers. Thank you for your thoughtful responses. The information from the surveys, along with other internal measures, will help the board and staff define priorities for next year. The surveys included some positive, affirming responses and some great ideas for improvement. Some concerns and misperceptions were also noted. On behalf of the board of directors and administration, the accountability committee would like to address some of the concerns and misperceptions to ensure members of the TPCA community have accurate information.

State of the School Fall 2014

Lynn Ingegneri - Monday, October 27, 2014

Hello Parents and Staff,

I hope this note finds each of you settled and engaged in the community of Twin Peaks Charter Academy. On October 16th, at the Board's request, our administration presented a State of the School Report. Please see the attached file for a recap of the event.

What is this and why?

This meeting was designed to address questions you might have about our school. We explored our past performance and reported on successes, challenges, and opportunities. Our school has grown, as has our population. It is important to communicate clearly where we are, and where we are going.

The Board remains focused on our mission of academic excellence. We continue to look for community support, input, and feedback to further advance our goals.

A follow-up to this "State of the School" meeting will take place on March 19, 2015, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.  Please join us, become informed, and support the Vision. Exciting things are happening and your voice makes a difference.

Thank you,

Kathy DeMatteo
Board President
