Activities and Clubs
TPCA middle school activities include Odyssey of the Mind; chess, running, debate, and homework clubs; various teacher-led enrichments, student leadership opportunities; National Junior Honor Society; middle school dances; and various athletic opportunities. Traditional field trips include 6th grade Outdoor Education, 7th grade International Towne, and the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C.
Outdoor education is a three day field trip for all sixth graders at TPCA. Students get to experience the mountains outside of Estes Park, and learn about the environment, their sense of adventure, and teamwork. It is not required, but we want all of them to attend and experience this adventure together. Click here to learn more about our outdoor education experience.
Participation in athletics builds character, discipline, and collegiality. Our students are invited to participate in a wide variety of athletic opportunities. Sponsored athletics include cross country, volleyball, boys soccer (fall), boys and girls basketball (winter), soccer and track and field (spring). Fencing is also available. Students may participate in all other sports in conjunction with other district schools. For more information, please visit our Athletics page.
