The school year has begun at tuition-free PK-12 Twin Peaks Classical Academy. When you visit our campus this fall you may see some new faces on staff. From classroom teachers to security staff, we have added several new talented and caring professionals to our already incredible team. New Faces at Twin Peaks for the 2023-24 School Year
Ms. Dennis, English Language Development (ELD) Teacher, joins us after teaching kindergarten and ELD in St. Vrain Valley Schools for the past three years.
Mr. White, Fifth Grade Teacher, recently graduated with a degree in education from UNC and is excited to get started at Twin Peaks.
Ms. Ellis, Secretary and Assistant to the Athletic Director, is a talented middle school basketball coach with a passion for working with upper grades.
Ms. Shipp, Elementary Office, has lived in Longmont for 12 years and is a Twin Peaks parent.
Ms. Martinez, Kindergarten IA, has an Associates Degree in elementary education and has been working in schools since high school.
Mr. Gray, Sixth Grade English Teacher, is familiar to our families as a substitute teacher at Twin Peaks last year.
Mr. Beamis and Mr. Simcoe, School Security Officers, are a team that will make Twin Peaks one of the safest schools in the area.
Mr. Lyle, Secondary Latin Teacher, graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with degrees in linguistics and classics before becoming a certified Latin language educator.
Ms. Lynch, Fifth Grade Teacher, has taught first, second and fourth grades and just returned to Colorado after eight years in NYC, Mexico City and Houston.
Ms. Jennings, Second Grade Teacher, taught for 10 years in El Paso before moving to Colorado, where she recently worked as a preschool paraprofessional.
Ms. Zimmer, Fourth Grade Teacher, has taught Kindergarten, first and second grade and is a mom to two boys in fourth and fifth grades at Twin Peaks.
Mr. Zak, Secondary Special Education Teacher, has been teaching Special Education in the St. Vrain Valley School District for over five years.
Ms. Starks, Sixth Grade Math Teacher, has been teaching for six years in Westminster, including every grade level from first grade to middle school math.
Ms. Carpenter, Secondary Choir and Theatre Teacher, has worked as an elementary music teacher and freelance musician.
