At Twin Peaks Classical Academy, we are a tuition-free K-12 charter school that enjoys a reputation for excellence. Founded with a vision to provide an academically rigorous environment that encourages students to excel, we have never wavered from that mission, and it shows! From Kindergarten to 12th grade, our students are achieving and succeeding.

TPCA Elementary: The Building Blocks of Success

Academic achievement doesn’t happen overnight. Our students develop foundational skills starting in Kindergarten. From phonics and handwriting to math concepts, literature, and history, our elementary students connect cross-curriculum topics through sequential, hands-on learning. Elementary Classical Education includes daily exposure to Latin in the early years, and students progress into Latin classes in 4th and 5th grades.

TPCA Middle School: Inquiry & Expression

Middle School at TPCA is a time for exploration and discovery. Our Classical Education challenges 6th-8th grade students to think and express themselves in the abstract - from developing and testing hypotheses, writing thesis statements, and using numbers to orient themselves in the concepts of Algebra and Geometry. And the results speak for themselves! Some highlights from 2022-23:

  • Our 8th graders tied for first in the district in English Language Arts on CMAS Assessments

  • Math and English Classes performed significantly above the state and district on CMAS

  • 8th grade Math exceeded the state by 20%

  • 8th Grade English exceed the state by 22%

  • 30% of our middle school student body scored a 3.5 GPA or higher in the spring of 2023

TPCA High School: Ready to Soar

TPCA Classical Education prepares all students for the opportunity for acceptance into a four-year university or college. Many of our students are working at a level that surpasses students in other public and private schools in our state. They’ll spend their high school years reading challenging literature; deepening their understanding of history and government; and by the time they graduate will have completed at least 3 years of science and a foreign language - including French, Spanish, or Latin. We offer several options for advanced Math students, including AP Calculus; AP Statistics, and Honors Pre-Calculus. We offer standardized testing, including PSAT and SAT, with impressive results:

  • TPCA High School’s 2022-23 average SAT score was 1203, representing the highest score in our district by a margin of 100 points, and the 9th highest in the state.

Next Steps

In 2022-23, 73% of our seniors were enrolled in at least one of our 15 AP courses, and 74% of them earned college credit for their work. And we support our high schoolers' next steps by creating individualized pathways for success after graduation, including college field trips and recruiting visits. TCPA graduates attend a broad range of colleges and universities, including:
