It is our pleasure to introduce our newest Head Coach, Jake Johnson. Jake will be heading up our high school women's basketball team for the 26/27 season. Here are some fun facts about Coach Johnson.
He was an original member of the first kinder class at TPCA in 1997 and was a True Grit graduate of Twin Peaks Charter Academy, back before we added our high school. We are thrilled to welcome him back to Twin Peaks Classical Academy!
Some more directly from Coach Johnson:
"I played professional football for 6 years and I now sprint in some USATF events which lead me to start my own my own Sprint & performance business that helps professionals on down to elementary aged kids In all different sports. I have a beautiful wife and 3 kids that keep me on my toes at all times! I also coach my 8 year old daughter’s 10u softball team which I love doing! We have a small goat farm that I manage in my spare time and I love camping and being with family. Favorite food is a good steak with some sliced avocado on top!"
Coach Johnson will be on campus very soon to meet and greet some of our student athletes and staff. Please welcome back an original Timberwolf!

As we continue introducing our wonderful teaching staff, I turn to our Secondary English Team. They are hard at work helping our students read and discuss some of the Great Books in the classical tradition. Pictured here is Curtis Lyle (4th year at Twin Peaks), Megan Fritz (3rd year at Twin Peaks), Brook Kieser (2nd year at Twin Peaks), Krista Esch (1st year at Twin Peaks), George McAusland (6th year at Twin Peaks), and James Thornton (15th year at Twin Peaks).

1st–5th Grade Families,
We’re excited to welcome you to Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 26th! 🏫✨
This is a wonderful opportunity for classroom teachers to share important information about the school year, classroom routines, and all the exciting things ahead!
Parents/guardians only, please.
For families with multiple children, we’re offering three sessions so you can visit each classroom:
🕕 6:00–6:25 PM
🕡 6:30–6:55 PM

We can’t wait to see you and kick off a fantastic school year together!

They have the guidance of Mr. McAusland (9th and 12th grade English teacher), Ms. Wanninger (MS Math with lots of college application experience), and Ms. Cook (AP of College and Career).
We're so glad to provide our students with support as they figure out their next steps after high school.

Stay tuned to see which 4 colleges we will be visiting this year!

Tomorrow is our big Back to School Open House! We can't wait to meet all of our new families, and all 6th and 9th graders tomorrow morning from 9-11AM. We will be serving hotdogs on the south side of the building starting at about 10:45, so plan to stay for lunch with us!
Returning families, come on in between 1-3PM to meet your teachers, put things in your lockers, and get your schedules.
