Last week, Twin Peaks Jazz Band had the opportunity to perform with the Guerilla Fanfare brass band. They did a wonderful job!
Jazz Band is an auditioned group that welcomes numerous instruments and voice. For more information on joining Jazz Band, contact Mr. Wixom.

Kindergarten enjoys pumpkin painting, pumpkin stories, and most importantly pumpkin pancakes!



First graders are learning all about adjectives, or describing words. After reading the book Creepy Carrots, they made their own creepy carrots and wrote about them!


On November 1st we will be starting this year's Reading Challenge which we are calling, "Explore, Read More!" the challenge will take the form of a bingo game. We kicked the Reading Challenge off with an all school assembly yesterday.
Students and teachers are working on creating exciting challenges for the month of November. For the first month, students who meet their goal will be participating in Hat Day.

Middle School students had their monthly House Team Building day on Friday, playing Telephone Pictionary with housemates they don't get to engage with daily!
As we end October, our House Competition is off to a strong start. House Robur is in the lead with 183 points. House Aurum is close behind with 137 points. House Atomos, at 37 points, is still able to catch up! Our November competition, worth 150 points, is our National Junior Honor Society Food Drive!



We still have openings for the After-School Martial Arts Program sponsored by Ripple Effect Martial Arts. This program is for 2nd-5th grades and begins on November 5th. Follow the link below for more informaiton.
